My Sad Dream

I drew this back in 2012 when I first moved in with my father in New York. I was able half way though my senior year in high school, and it was a extremely tough time for me. As any person who moved during school, they will tell you that it's hard fitting in and making new friends. It was in this time that I went to a pet shop and saw a husky. Being so troubled, what can bring more comfort than a puppy? At the time I felt like I really needed the puppy because I at the time though I really needed a friend due to some depression from picking up everything and moving away. To express this I tried my hand a drawing an animal for the first time. What I got was this, Jack. Some day I hope to get a husky just like the one I saw.
